Past Lake Jumps have collectively
raised over $250,000 for worthy charities in
West Michigan. When asked why WMOM chose the
Andre' Bosse Centers to be the beneficiaries
Patrick Lopeman, owner of WMOM said"We
feel that nothing is more important than healthy
children and families". He added that WMOM
chose the Andre' Bosse Centers because they
wanted to be an active supporter and help to
assure that the Andre' Bosse Centers can financially
afford to keep both the Oceana and Mason County
Centers open.

Wanted: Andre' Bosse Centers for Abused Kids
Strapped for Cash- 9&10 News Story
from 2/18/2008
The child advocacy programs offered a the Andre'
Bosse Centers are being threatened by a severe
lack of money. The Centers in Ludington and
Hart operate with private donations. For nearly
ten years, that has been enough to staff the
centers and run programs for neglected and abused
kids. But now lean economic times are affecting
the places that try to heal fragile young minds.

Volunteer Spotlight-
Here at the Andre' Bosse
Centers we think all of our volunteers are great.
Without their help we would not be able to provide
all the services we do. Each quarter we will highlight
one volunteer and explain why we rely on them.

Key to Sustaining Bosse Center's Growth
Tel Medicine /Distance
Learning Initiative-
With this proposed equipment a child who has
experienced physical or sexual abuse can now
have a forensic medical examine preformed by
a physician who specializes in pediatric sexual
or physical trauma at U of M’s Motts Children’s
Hospital or the Midwest Regional Children’s
Alliance in Minnesota without traveling any
farther than Memorial Medical Center or Hackley
Lakeshore Hospital. That same specialist can
then testify during the Court proceedings off-site
saving the Counties travel expenses and increasing
prosecution rates. This is just one example
of how this equipment can be used to strengthen
our community. Group’s involved hope to have
a 6-site system in place by Fall of 2009.
